Costume Check! Trunk or Treat is Almost Here!
We are SO excited to offer our students a Trunk or Treat event this year.
October 31, 2025
Safety First: Please choose costumes that are easy to walk in and will not trip little feet. Also, choose costumes that do not need a full face mask as masks can obstruct vision.
Keep it Family-Friendly: Since this is a school day for all grade levels, please ensure costumes are appropriate for school and not excessively scary, violent, or gory.
No Weapons: For everyone’s safety, please leave all costume accessories that resemble weapons (even toy swords, guns, or knives) at home.
Students are welcome to come to school already in costume. Our teachers and staff will be participating in dressing up for Halloween as well.
We can’t wait to see the incredible creativity! If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher or the front office.

🏁 Cruising into Greatness! 🏁 Members from the Cultural Awareness Corvette Weekend, Inc. (CACW) partnered with the National Corvette Museum and stopped by Parker-Bennett-Curry Thursday afternoon. CACW is designed to celebrate African American Corvette owners and enthusiasts, but is welcoming to everyone who shares a passion for Corvettes and community.
Even with a few afternoon showers, students were able to see several Corvettes and talk with CACW members. Students also received gifts of posters and wrist bands.
Thank you CACW for helping us begin the school year with such a fun afternoon!!
