☂️🍝 After reading, “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs,” Kindergarteners at Parker-Bennett-Curry, decided they weren't taking any chances. They called in WNKY Weather Chief Chris Allen to learn more about the science of weather.

“Different people change the world.” - Jenson Day

Local authors, Jenson and Darla Day, and Illustrator Chad Day visited primary students at Parker-Bennett-Curry this morning. They read their book, “Charlie and the Cheerful Hearts,” and encouraged students to spread cheer to others! The Day family also shared that while Jenson has cerebral palsy that limits his ability to move and talk, his creativity, imagination, and love for others is not limited. Jenson and his family have two published books and are working on a third.

When the students had the opportunity to ask questions, the first question asked: “Can I give you a hug?”
