Purples Athletic Facilities
BGHS Stadium
Completed in 2021, BGHS Stadium is home to the nine-time State Champion Purple Football Team as well as the BGHS Track and Field Program which has produced 27 individual State Champions.
BGHS Stadium features state of-the-art spectator seating lighting, sound, and playing surface.
The Track at BGHS is an official eight lane rubberized surface and BGHS most recently hosted the KHSAA Regional Track Meet.


BGHS Pool
The Pool at BGHS is one of the finest natatoriums in Kentucky and is home to the Purples Swim and Dive Teams, currently winners of the last 20-consecutive Regional Championships.
The Pool features both a 25-meter lane option and 25-yard lane option.
BGHS has become the host location for many of the state's top swimming meets.
Harold J. Stahl Field
Home to the two-time State Champion BGHS Baseball Purples, Harold Stahl field stands as one of South Central Kentucky's premier baseball fields.
Stahl Field sees action nearly every night between March and August as it is home field for BGHS and BGJHS while also hosting area college games, and summer tournament games.


Purples Softball Field
Completed in 2023, the BGHS Softball Complex is the benefactor of a complete overhaul that included a new playing surface, dugout and amenities expansion and renovation, new fencing, and a new scoreboard.
BGHS Baseball and Softball Indoor Facilities
Purples Baseball and Softball both benefit from individual indoor hitting facilities and locker rooms. Both buildings sit adjacent to the fields for their programs and allow for Purples to train year round.


BGHS Rehab
Through on-going relationships with community partners, BGHS is able to provide students and student athletes with top notch on-campus rehabilitation services.
Purples Field House
The BGHS Field House is home to the Purples Football team, Track and Field, and Strength and Conditioning. Expanded in 2007 and again in 2024, the Field House has for fifty years set the gold standard of athletic facilities can be when a community invests in providing the best for students.


BGHS Arena
The Arena at BGHS, built in 1990 and renovated in 2025, is the largest HS Arena in South Central KY and home to the Purples Basketball, Lady Purples Basketball, BGHS Cheerleading and Purples Volleyball teams. The Arena features state-of-the art locker rooms, a Film Room, a Golf Simulator, a second on-campus weight room, and coaches offices.
